Bought this for hiking so I don't get blisters after weeks of hiking. So far I've tried them at home, even in 20-degree weather with my winter boots. They have plenty of cushioning and my winter boots, which often irritate my toe, were even comfortable for a change. They also have a little compression which I like - seems to help with leg pain from long standing. My only complaint is that they only come in awkward colors. If they had some neutral colors I'd prefer that, but I guess for hiking I'm not looking for fashion :) Will try them in a few weeks for a longer hike. Crossed fingers!
