When I got my new bedroom furniture my husband said my cat's bed (on the dresser) looked very 'poor' (not quite the right word Therefore). When I got rid of his old bed, he decided to just sleep with us instead. It didn't work for us (my husband). Beautiful cat beds can be expensive and don't seem to look good on furniture. I decided to try these lined baskets. I was looking at the braid, it always tends to squeak, and I didn't want to listen to my fidgety kitten all night. I was also concerned that baskets might scratch my new furniture. This is the perfect solution. Big Hank (my cat, not my husband) fits in perfectly, like a hug. They are made of durable woven fabric, won't scratch my dresser! The insert is easy to remove for washing (and I've easily stuffed some old t-shirts between the insert and the mattress basket) And best of all, they look great. I'm sure they would be perfect for an open closet or under a dressing table. And I'm sure a cat bed isn't meant for her, but (wait) sometimes you have to think outside the box, a crate, I mean a crate! Rschunimagu
