I bought this item because I had trouble sleeping and thought it might be due to the blue light emanating from my e-book which I read every night before bed. I've wanted to try going back to paper books and ink, but my bed doesn't have a better reading lamp. After reading the reviews and studying the information, I decided that a neck light was preferable to a clip. I'm glad I chose LuminoLite! This is perfect for reading in bed and I only have to use the lowest light settings. The flexible design makes it easy to adjust to display the pages correctly. However, I've found this little light to be great for other uses as well. My husband is a deer hunter and called late in the afternoon to tell me he had caught a deer but he was far away in the woods and it was night. . He needed help getting him to his truck, and I can tell you I wasn't too keen on walking through an unfamiliar wooded area at night. Then I remembered my LuminoLite. I threw it around my neck and it didn't disappoint. It was very bright and my hands were free to hold a flashlight for my husband. I had no problem walking through the woods and seeing clearly. Light holds a charge for a long time. I've been using my flashlight several times a week for several months and even after more than 2 hours in the forest, it's still fully lit. I would highly recommend this light and I think it's great for close-up work like sewing, knitting or painting.
