This rug fits perfectly, especially compared to many others I've seen. I will say that leveling the mat is tricky because the velcro stays sticky if you don't want it to, but I would recommend starting by leveling the seat backs (with the seats folded) and then unfolding the mat as needed. align to the rear of the vehicle. CAUTION Velcro is strong and weakens the fibers of your durable carpet. This is definitely not the type of carpet you want to remove on a regular basis. Install it and leave it so that the velcro does not ruin the carpet. The quality of the carpet itself is excellent. The material is durable and well made/sewn. I've seen several large floor mats installed in the Model Y and they had to put velcro on the sides of the car to get the mat to fit. I didn't want that, so the velcro that pulls the rug if the rug comes loose is a reasonable compromise for me.
