This is a very nice faucet, the hot and cold water lines are easy to install and do not require Teflon as the instructions say. There are several issues with installation and water volume. The silicone gaskets that came with it didn't seal properly, so I removed both and replaced the gasket that runs between the drain flange and the top of the sink at Plumber's and replaced the bottom gasket with a standard under-sink drain gasket purchased at the plumber's. storage. I also had to use teflon tape on the drain tube, not only to secure the nut but to prevent leakage. Another issue I had was related to the amount of water. The first time I used it, I could clearly see that the water was not flowing out of the tap properly because the strainer was clogged from the inside. Normally, with standard faucets, all you have to do is unscrew and clean the aerator, but this unit doesn't have an aerator (so if you're looking to save on water usage, this faucet isn't for you). I had to completely disassemble the faucet and clean the inside, as well as scrape off the dirt, blow it out with an air gun, adjust the strainer to fit properly, and put a few more pin holes in it. Now it works fine and I would give it another star if I didn't have to spend so much time and purchase additional items to install it. I regularly swap out faucets in my shop, which usually takes between half an hour and forty-five minutes, but since I was walking from house to house, the installation took almost two hours.
