These shoes are for my mother who has foot problems and needs a wider toe box. The first size I bought was too small so I switched and it was pretty easy. The large size fits her very well and she finds it very comfortable. However, the Velcro straps you use to loosen and tighten the shoes are very short, so she keeps pulling the strips out and then her eyesight can't find a slit to put them back in. So I have to wear them with shoes to add velcro to the existing strap which is an additional expense and an errand. You should really make the upper strap longer with velcro, many women of different ages wear them, and the extra length of velcro will help the visually impaired to use them. she can't wear them until i fix them.
