Obviously not for the MacBook Air A1466

A shame. The reviews seemed positive so I went ahead and spent nearly $50 on it. I will be returning it as it is defective, not as described and just not working properly. It arrived with a definite bend about 1/3 of the way on the right so it doesn't lie. Fully adheres to the top of the laptop screen. Since the A1466 model has a metal frame all over the screen, it leaves a gap of more than 1 inch on both sides, but sticks to the bottom of the screen with the provided silicone stickers. The bottom part of the screen is the sharpest when viewed directly, while the top part of the screen is blurry due to the metal frame around the top of the screen. The tab is on the silver side of the privacy screen, but the circular cutout for the green camera light is on the left side of the screen. The light itself is on the right side of a laptop's camera. . The screen can still be seen very well from different viewing angles. I've included images so you can see the bezel of this MacBook Air model, the curvature of the product, the reverse orientation of the film and/or the green light round camera hole and the ability to see the screen relatively clearly from the side. It works a little better when I flip it, but if it does, the slider has been moved backwards on this particular screen. . Even with the laptop's brightness turned down, I can see the screen fairly clearly even from the side. I would *not* recommend this screen to anyone who has a MacBook Air model A1466 as their top privacy screen. does not sit flush with the screen (and always looks blurry) due to the design of this MacBook Air model. I'm sure it's not bad for newer models with more screen real estate (as opposed to older models with metal frames).
