The steamer showed signs of incomplete packaging or someone may have attempted to assemble it. The broken guide looks like it was used to hold the flexible spray hose at the top of the trigger. His absence does not affect performance. I bought this to replace an accidentally gifted steamer. This die-cast aluminum model had a water tank as part of the atomizer, allowing you to hold the device and the weight of the water while using it. This design has a flexible water supply hose that can be placed in a water source. The water enters the steamer through a pipe to be heated, and then a flexible hose is connected to it, either to a sprayer or to a fixed pole that has various nozzles attached.
