Review on NooElec Balun One Nine Applications by Richard Edwar

Since some other reviewers said it was indeed Unun, I took a good look at it. This is a balun as described and documented in the diagram on the company's website. Since I was using this on a long wire antenna I did the following: I cut the trace on the underside of the board that connects the center pin of the antenna side of the transformer to ground on the SMA connector. Then I put the wire through the hole next to Max +28 dBm and soldered it. This wire was connected to the ground wire, which was also connected to one of the antenna inputs, and the long wire was connected to the other.
