I bought this chair when I was moving to a new apartment and needed something inexpensive but practical and stylish enough not to be embarrassed. I didn't want a straight office chair, I wanted an armchair that you can watch TV in. I was expecting an average chair at best. Oddly enough, this chair is a pretty good product. And for the price (about $125 as of January 2013) it's the best buy on Revain and probably anywhere else you'll find in the near future. Pros: Pretty easy to put together and they provide all the tools you need to get the job done. (All you need is a hex key and socket wrench.) I assembled this chair myself in about 30 minutes. "This is a two piece chair (chair and footrest) and both work well together. Suitable for television. It can change shape a bit and has a manual stopper so you can recline it into the desired position. - The material of the chair is PU leather, but soft and smooth. - The chair twists and turns without any problems and noise. - The bottom of the chair and the bottom of the footrest are covered in the same soft faux leather which is great for hardwood floors as you won't leave marks or scratches if your chair slips through everyday use. - I received a white color that is not very bright and feels light. Eyes. I've spilled coffee on my chair before but it came off easily with no stains - The chair comes in a well packed box and can be lifted by one person. No bulk item. A chair is comfortable if and only if you add a blanket or pillow. See my Cons section below for an explanation. Cons: - As I mentioned above, you need a blanket or pillow to cover the back of your chair to be really comfortable. Why? The metal bar runs through the lower back (when the chair is in the most upright position). That bar isn't very uncomfortable, but you sit there and say I have a bar in my back and that's wrong. It will annoy and bother you until it quickly becomes embarrassing. My solution, which worked great, was to take my existing microfiber blanket and drape it over the back of a chair. I suspect a pillow would work as well, as long as it's thin enough. The problem is that you don't need to add extra fluff to make the chair comfortable. At best this is a bummer, at worst a dealer crash. I see some would rather return the chair in light of this. For me, the chair with the extra blanket is super comfortable. That metal bar is indeed an issue to consider with this chair before you buy it. Overall I think this is a solid buy for the price and actual features. I use the chair every day and do not regret the purchase.
