Creative fun for little hands!

My niece is 2.5 years old and I knew I wanted something fun, easy to clean and not filled with mindless music or lights (or other battery powered things) for her and eventually her little brother to have in my house can play with it . home - and this construction toy ticks all the boxes! The actual concept is very simple - vertical folding of multicolored parts. There are endless possibilities for interaction, we talked about colors, shapes, heights, how the bases fit together, whether they can be round or rather straight etc. Sea creatures are adorable too and we used them to write animal names and sounds in both English and Spanish practice . She thought it was funny that the pulpo (octopus) kept falling off when she put it on with so much force! I was nervous that she might break something but all the details held up as expected. My 12 year old daughter (and I really do too!) loved the toy too, it's very reminiscent of the popular building blocks and has lots of play options. I wouldn't order this for older children but if you have children between the ages of 2 and 5 this is the perfect toy to "grow up" with. The best part is that there are TONS of pieces to choose from! If my nephew is old enough to play along I see no problem in sharing this fantastic toy between two children. I'm also thankful for a drawstring pouch (not pictured) to keep everything hidden, making this the perfect "auntie house" toy to look forward to!
