When I received my media player I installed the hard drive according to the instructions in the manual. Management is terrible and not overly informative. By connecting the media player to your computer, you can use it as an external hard drive and it works. When you connect the media player to the TV, it does not recognize or use the internal hard drive! You can use a flash drive and it actually lists CDs. I think if you plug it outside. I contacted the company twice and they had no solution. There is a serious programming/firmware problem. There's no point in buying this device and loading media files into it if the media player doesn't even have the ability to read the internal hard drive! Extremely useless. Also when reading flash drives, the UI was buggy, toggling Chinese characters on and off when trying to use them. This is rubbish, don't waste your money.
