I use my laptop as a second monitor with a wireless mouse and keyboard combo. This stand is a little taller than some and my laptop's screen is the perfect height to match my eyes. The height is also great for video conferencing, which I'm doing more and more often - the laptop's camera is now at my face level, so no awkward angles of the "campfire ghost story"! It also has a square base so I can slide files underneath for quick access during a call. The design also allows for full ventilation of my laptop, keeping it cool. Really great stand for a good price!
