Review on πŸ’Ύ Upgrade Your Storage: Transcend 16GB JetFlash 710 USB 3.1/3.0 Flash Drive (TS16GJF710G) by Julio Diaz

Great USB drive with a small design flaw.

Pros: Works great as a portable USB drive. The read/write speeds are as advertised and formatting for your operating system is very easy and takes very little time. The first mount didn't give an answer from the OS, but who knows, maybe I didn't connect it properly? However, it has been working flawlessly ever since. This aspect of the USB drive now works great. It's very well made and I feel that its dust and shock resistance is a real testament to its build quality - I believe that after dropping the keys with this thing a few times. Nothing feels cheap given the price, but the laser etched logo on one side is a little washed out, not that you want to see the logo while using it. It serves its purpose as branding and if that helps keep such a great product cheap then by all means keep doing it. Faster read/write performance would be a key area of interest for me. Cons: Now for the cons, and the only downside is the keychain feature. If you don't have a perfect circle (and I do NOT mean the keychain loop due to its design, I mean the actual width of the metal that goes through the loop of the USB stick) it fits properly and won't move until you move it. to the thinner part of the ring. This can make it difficult to juggle keys in your pocket, and sometimes even difficult to grab one of the keys. This is not an obstacle for me, because it always makes sense to have storage space with you. I just wish there was more room for the keyrings to move around without a second, smaller keyring to solve the problem.

Pros
  • COB (Chip on Board) Manufacturing Technology
Cons
  • weak
