I'm a tall guy, over 300 pounds, and flattened office chair seats are a common problem for me. I reviewed many pads before settling on this one and I'm glad I bought it. It's not perfect but works as advertised at a reasonable price. It flattens out a little after prolonged use, but only a little. It reaches a "stabilized" point where you can't smooth it out, and the cushioning effect that remains is still enough to take the edge off those long computer sessions. I rotate her into a new position every day and this helps her get extra softness. It's the perfect size and doesn't interfere with hanging or sliding around. It has been in continuous use for the last 4 months and is still in perfect condition. It might be a few bucks more than others, but for us big folks, it's worth having something that works. The only reason I said it's not perfect is because I would make one 2 inches thicker if they made it at all.
