We bought the smallest size of this coat for our 2 multichon puppies. They were only 12 weeks old and even the small size was still too big. However, it turned out that solving the problem was pretty easy. Velcro straps are long enough to be adjustable. After measuring the fit of each pup, I simply folded each body in half and sewed one side in several places, leaving the front open. It only took a few stitches to secure the fold. The change worked great. The best part is that by the time they got to their current 15 week stage, all I had to do was carefully remove the sutures and lengthen the body back to its original length - with no damage. Both coats fit great now and the soft and plush material will definitely keep them warm in cold winter weather. The zippered design of these coats allows each pup to roam free and won't mind wearing them. Also, we washed both coats twice and there was no sign of shrinkage or the effect of their soft finish. We will definitely look for this brand for both summer and winter clothing.
