My son loves these boots but these boots are not 6M. We received the 6 wide and after checking with the manufacturer these light green boots are not available in the medium width. However, they told me that they are not much wider than the standard width, so a very thick sock or two could accommodate the extra width. My son loves these boots and although they are a bit wider for his narrow feet he wants to keep them. It's well made and it's one of the nicest winter boots out there, so we decided to keep it. There are lots of great colors too! I would have preferred a better fitting boot but my son loves them so we will try thicker socks and hope that it works. The manufacturer's sizing is perfect and the only reason these boots are too big for my son is that we ordered a 6W instead of a 6M. We actually ordered a second pair in 6 wide red/black for my other son who needs wide shoes and they fit perfectly. If the boot survives the long New England winter, we'll definitely be buying it again.
