I wanted it to work.
Well the screen replacement looked great. The glue was sticky. The problem was that it was so sticky that the release tab actually started pulling the adhesive off the digitizer. Unfortunately, the digitizer only works halfway. There was a spot on the side where there's no tab to pull the lid. I don't know if that caused the damage.
