When you open the box with the bag, you immediately smell the leather. This is not a chemical smell, but the smell of real tanned leather. Packed in a protective dustproof cloth bag. I really try to buy American products and actually thought they were made in America until I saw the label. Nothing against China. I'm just trying to support American industry with my purchasing power.
