I am 6ft 1in and weigh 75kg The fabric is the same as the cloth shirts. It's smooth, stretchy and comfortable. This is not a surgical mask, but it protects your face from pollen and feces. The ear cutouts are a much-needed fit bonus to keep them in place and make them comfortable when using Bluetooth headphones. I have several different manufacturers of this mask/gaiter and this is the best I have used so far. . I will definitely order more.
