Questionable durability

A 6ft cable already has a problem if it isn't plugged in and held, it won't charge and now another 6ft cable is doing the same. I haven't tried other 3ft cords and 10ft cords but I suspect it will end up that way except the cords really did their job and charged quickly. I just expected them to last longer.
