For 14 years I've wanted to turn on the internet in our barn. The barn is about 500 feet from our house, across the state road, and is off-limits to ISPs other than Hughes. I heard about NANO a few years ago but felt my knowledge of technology was too weak to think about it. Then I found out that a man I knew from the shop had implanted a NANO himself. After speaking to him, he offered to program the transmitter and receiver for me, which I kindly agreed to do. After programming, which took about 20 minutes, I did all the wiring (Cat7) and everything turned out much better than I had hoped. I now have full internet in the barn and also have some old but very effective Logitech security cameras enabled. I highly recommend NANO, but be prepared to seek advice if you're unfamiliar with the setup process. I understand the company is now programming the transmitter and receiver for the customer, which makes a lot of sense and provides accessibility for those of us who need remote internet coverage like this.
