Review on ๐Ÿ“ฟ Hagerty's Tarnish-Preventing Hanging Jewelry Keeper with Silver Cloth for Optimal Protection by Brandon Pratt

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The look is shabby and not ideal for massive jewelry; best for delicate necklaces and bracelets

I wanted to love it as much as everyone else but I just couldn't. The one I received had threads all over it which made it look cheap and got me thinking about hooking zippers. The top part of the bag, on the side of the necklaces, was sewn unevenly. The left side was uphill, so the chain compartment wasn't completely covered by the flap that folds down. I expect better quality for a $35 product. It is made in China and looks like it. Quality control may be random or inadequate on the part of the company. The chain compartment has a lot of pull tabs, but the plastic clasps are in the middle for all the straps, so you lose about an inch of headroom in the compartment. There is no possibility to place long necklaces. They merge and tangle below. Therefore it is not suitable for necklaces of "various lengths and styles" as the description states. (I also found it a shame that the latches were plastic instead of metal, which would have been more durable.) Finally, most compartments were too small for my needs. I would only recommend this item if you need it for a lot of silver rings and earrings (I don't have it, I already have a clear box for it) and if your silver chains and bracelets are very delicate or thin, e.g. silver chains with a simple pendant , no longer than 16 inches or so. I would measure the length available but it is already boxed and ready to be returned to Revain. My silver jewelry is larger and has stones (like turquoise Native American jewelry) so I could only fit 2-3 short necklaces in the necklace compartment and my bracelets barely fit in most compartments. I found I could only use around 6-7 pockets which meant it wasn't very functional for me.
