I needed to make room in the basement next to the treadmill washer so I had to make room for the floor dryer. I bought two of these and installed them on the inside of my washer and dryer doors. I hung them high enough so that when the doors are closed my clothes barely make it to the top of the washer/dryer (some clothes still stretch a bit) and remain out of sight. I can hang 5-7 garments on each and they force me to put those garments away after they dry. I didn't do this when I had a freestanding dryer. One downside is that they wobble easily from side to side. So if you want something stiffer, you might want to try something else. They're made of hard, heavy iron and hold a lot more weight than other flimsy plastic hangers I've seen. I love how they look on my solid pine doors even with the doors open. Highly recommended for hanging clothes.
