I have a professional 3-axis gimbal for my DSLR so I can appreciate the value of the gimbal for your video work. Nothing beats a stabilized image to make everything look professional. It works very well considering the price. Most of the time the biggest problem for me is the phone holder. I have a "safe" phone so it's a little thicker, has its own built in case and most phone holders just aren't deep enough to hold my phone. Well thankfully this not only holds my fat phone but if balanced properly it makes for a very smooth ride even with my bulky phone. It's also quite stiff when fully extended, which is a welcome surprise. The only major downside for me is the fact that the remote control and gimbal head use different charging ports. The remote is Micro USB and the gimbal is USB C. They include an adapter cable for both. Unfortunately, this means that you can only charge one bit at a time with the cables that come with it. It would be much better to use USB C on both parts and give a Y charging cable to charge both parts at the same time. The step-by-step charging setting is the main reason I didn't give this device 5 stars. So in the end it looks cheap, but it seems to work well. You really get great value for money here. Whether you're using it for a selfie/vlog or video work for your YouTube channel or whatever, if you're looking for an entry-level gimbal to enhance your video work, I don't think you can find a better deal less money. It works pretty well for $40, hard not to recommend.
