These binoculars and digital camera are well made. The camera's image quality is excellent with multiple aspect ratios, just like any digital camera. The small screen used to set up the camera and view your videos or photos isn't the best quality. However, you will not view your photos on this monitor. You upload your photos to your computer for editing etc. The zoom function is good, but you have to make sure that you are in the middle of the subject with the binoculars, otherwise your image will either be too high or too left or right for parallax. For bird watching, this device is great for close-up interactions. This is not a spotting scope. Enjoy!
