My husband was still hesitant to service his grandfather's watch himself with this kit because it really is a job for someone with much better tools and horological skills. However, we were able to change a few batteries in the watch and change a few straps. This handy kit is priced well below what we paid for such a simple watch repair service, so it was definitely worth it.
