Review on Pyle PLTTB3U Belt Drive USB Turntable: Record & Convert Vinyl with Digital Software by Sheila Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent player, great price

For the price it has an excellent sound quality and some features that are a must for a good turntable like an adjustable counterweight and an anti-skating system, the design is pretty good, the body is plastic but quite solid PROS: * Adjustable counterbalance and anti- Skating * Good sound quality and built-in PHONO amp * Good design * Pitch control CONS: * Unusable manual, no instructions on how to adjust counterbalance and anti-skating * Full instructions, don't really bother me about that, but if you listen to a lot of records, an automatic one would be Player better How I set up the counterbalance and anti-skating: I don't know if this is the standard method, but on this player I have the counterbalance on nu I posed, released my arm and started increasing the weight a little until the arm became stable and parallel to the disc, in my case it stabilized to zero, then I put my hand in the grip and set the counterweight to 1, 75 (I think 1.75 to 2). fits this hand) then I set the antiskating to the same value (1.75) and with these values it doesn't weigh too much against the record and in my case doesn't miss at all.
