We bought this to protect the scooter which we only have I bought . We were driving to an amusement park in Florida and it was raining. We went in for lunch and covered the scooter. It was raining when we got out. Not difficult - only about 30 minutes of irrigation. We removed the cover and found that a brief downpour soaked it completely, leaving puddles of water on the scooter in the basket, on the seat and worse on the controls and battery. I don't expect it to be waterproof because you can submerge it in the pool, but what good is a cover that doesn't protect the scooter from a brief downpour? We will buy something else as it clearly does not live up to the product description's expectations.
