Review on 🧺 Spectrum Storage Basket: Stylish Laundry Room Décor & Organization Solution, Pewter Finish by Randy Olson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Versatile, spacious, durable and well made.

Firstly it fits my new Rowenta DW 8080 iron which is large. I had an old Rubbermaid iron holder but the Rowenta doesn't fit. The Spectrum easily holds an iron pointing in any direction, as well as a measuring cup and small spray bottle. Of course, it also supports the ironing board. The basket is 13 inches high, 11 inches wide and has a maximum depth of approximately 7.75 inches. The wire mesh is 1/2 inch in diameter down the center and has holes about 3/8 inch wide. Installation is easy IF you have an 8-inch #2 Phillips screwdriver available at Home Depot for $7. The top two screws are easy to install with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. To get to the bottom two screws, you need a screwdriver that goes through the square basket of the device and reaches the back panel, which is almost 8 inches away. The holes are only 1" from the outside edges so the socket set may not work from inside the basket. An Allen screwdriver can work outside the basket if the shank is no larger than 3/8 inch in diameter, maybe 7/16. go through the grate. I mounted my Spectrum basket on a wooden surface so tightening the screws required little effort. If you are using the included wall anchors and have good hand strength, you can tighten the bottom screws by reaching into the top of the basket and using a short #2 Phillips screwdriver. I recommend using an 8 inch long screwdriver. The long shank gives plenty of torque and the screws turn easily.
