Review on 🚲 Arkon Bike and Motorcycle Handlebar Smartphone Mount - Water Resistant Holder for Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, 5C, 5, and 4S by Kate Johnson

I've been using the Arkon handlebar mount for five months now and am very happy with it. Other positive reviews state exactly what is good about the product so I won't go into detail other than to say I agree that this product is effective in keeping and protecting my device (iPhone 4) in (light to moderate weather). a very comfortable position so that I can view and control it. Unfortunately today the plastic around the brass screw broke and I'm not sure if that will stop me from continuing to use it or if it can be repaired. What worries me is that I only lightly hit the zippered case and the whole case flew off the mount and the brass screw, half-enclosed by broken plastic, fell to the ground. I was very surprised considering how easily I hit him. Luckily my phone wasn't there. I would only recommend the Arkon mount if you are willing to take the risk of breaking it and potentially dropping your device on the floor. The case is not designed to protect against this type of shock, because if the mount is working properly, no protection is needed. Whether you're driving a cheap device or taking precautions to ensure your case doesn't fall like I did, this product is worth every penny. One last thought: my device always gets very hot when I take it out of the Arkon case. There are certainly some obvious reasons for this: GPS operation, direct sunlight and outside temperature, etc. However, I wonder whether closing it also contributes to heating in this case. I'm obviously not including that in my review of the product, but I wanted to mention it.
