Straps won't hold up

I needed a new way to store gift wrap and I chose this bag. It holds the wrapping paper in the bag well, but the straps don't hold well. We kept the bag under the bed and the strap at the top of the bag is completely apart and torn. This happened the second time we took out the bag. Due to the way we store the bag this was a big disappointment. In addition, the bag is not full/heavy/overloaded; seems just a bad design.
