These filters are the perfect replacement for your compatible Katadyn filter system! I have a Hiker Pro and they fit and work perfectly with my system. The filter is OEM and has the correct threads, seals and flow system to breathe new life into your system. I replaced an aging filter and was amazed at how quickly and easily I can filter my water with this new filter. It took a long time to replace it! The filter comes with a new filter guard and flexible mesh that needs to be installed. very easy and the included instructions will walk you through this simple process. The kit also includes a sponge (used to periodically clean/wipe the protective filter; after installing the protective filter, you will know how to remove it for cleaning). You can prolong the life of these filters by cleaning the filter's protective film and protective sleeve and dabbing the filter vigorously with clean water. The main disadvantage of these filters is that they are very expensive! However, the ease of use and compactness of the system make Hiker Pro and replacement filters worthwhile. Featured!
