When I opened my order I was surprised to find I-Clean branded packaging and not Miele branded as listed. I still had the original Miele bag so I opened the sealed plastic bag in the box I and made a side by side comparison. There was no printing on the iClean bag like the Miele bag which has the brand and style of the bag printed on it. The design of the I-clean was almost the same, but the pouch material was slightly thinner. The red plastic part that attaches to the hose head was a little thinner but had a silicone o-ring that keeps dust from the attached area from entering the motor housing. The I-clean filters were a little different: the Miele filter was more like an AC filter medium, while the I-clean was more like a bag material. I have placed the bag in my Miele Flamingo vacuum cleaner and have used it twice a week for the past 3 weeks. I removed the package this morning. There was no dust in the bag area of my vacuum cleaner. So the bag does what it should. The only difference is that the round plastic flap door doesn't stay closed like the Miele brand after it's detached from the vacuum cleaner. This causes dirt to fall out of the bag, etc. I simply carried it straight into my garbage bag, closed it and put it in the big garbage can. Overall I find this bag performs much the same as the Miele but at a very reduced price. 16 bags from Miele can cost over $100. I will monitor the work of my vacuum cleaner, it's hard to believe the difference in price.
