So small but quite powerful

At the moment I think this is the first test of beelink S2 with 8GB/128GB Pentium N5000 processor. Revain wrongly calls it Celeron, but Intel (thankfully) calls it Pentium. I've only used it for a couple of weeks so far, mostly for web browsing and YouTube, but it was pretty fast and completely silent. I had to return the x45 model (6GB/128GB) because the fan was making weird noises at times and I decided it would be best to go without the fan. I'd say for the price it's a lot of car in a small package. Hopefully over time I won't have an issue with this as I've read reviews about the mediocre or non-existent tech support that can be common with these Chinese companies that don't have a US office. I also have a Beelink Bt3 which is very cheap at 4GB/64GB and while it works, loading pages etc is much slower. I got it from another provider and sometimes use it as a computer in the bedroom which can also connect to my TV netflix etc so I guess it's ok to use the TV as a pc. Both devices have HDMI and the video looks fantastic, so the graphics cards are fine. Hope that helps. If I run into problems, I'll post an update.

Pros
  • Big and expandable 16GB RAM/512GB SSD
Cons
  • I'm worried
