Packaging: The amplifier was wrapped in an antistatic bag and placed in a cardboard box together with the power cable. The amp was packaged securely enough and then the box was placed in the packaging box along with the other product. Amplifier arrived on time as promised, very happy with packaging and shipping/delivery. Connecting the amp to the mic was easy enough, just follow the instructions. This phantom amp provides power to the microphone, so the microphone will NOT work without it. I found the instructions clear enough to follow and the amp looks well built. There is an LED on the front of the amp that lights up when the amp is on, opposite the power button to turn it on. The appearance of the amplifier is pleasant, it seems solid. All connections are on the back of the amp and the male/female connectors are labeled (one side connects to the computer's sound card and the other to the microphone itself). I am very happy with this purchase so far, after more use I will post an update.
