Micro USB was bad design in many ways which is why I bought these cables in the first place. Connectors often wear out, loosen, and fail within a year of use (due to their small size) depending on how often you insert the connector into the micro USB port. I will say that these "Sagmoc" cables appear to be well made. The connectors offer a snug fit without having to use excessive force to connect them (force is the enemy of micro-USB connectors). The most serious problem occurs when the micro USB port fails. It is obviously preferable for a cable connector to fail than a connector as replacing a connector is no easy task and often not worth the time or effort. I've never seen a commonly used micro usb cable last very long and hope it will last longer because the plugs fit the micro usb connector better than other brands I've used. In terms of loading and data transfer speeds, they seem to support modern bandwidth standards as advertised. At an average price of $2 per cable, the price is reasonable and these cables are better quality than the junk available at most department stores or dollar stores.
