The hat is definitely warm, that's all. The landing is a bit big. I bought it to wear in bad weather when I have to be outside. I wear glasses and an account would be good to protect my lenses from the rain. It works, but it doesn't look like a full brimmed hat. The edge was also very creased and I haven't been able to remove it yet. Finally, it had an unpleasant "fishy" odor. I left it on for a few days and the smell was gone, but after wearing it in the rain for the first time the smell returned.
