As others have said this is not a Champion product. Do you think you should have read the reviews before buying? Could get one from the real company for the same price at my local sporting goods store but I stayed here before buying a helmet so figured I'd just go for both. It does the job but I'll be happy if it lasts through the season. I'd say it's cheap so you get what you pay for, but real champion belts cost the same in stores as me, so that's not entirely true. I'll have to go and buy one tomorrow to have on hand when this one finally breaks and it looks like it's going to happen pretty soon. I have a 10 year old girl who is pretty average height and this is also too small for her and her waist is only 29 inches. This is as much as you need and on the penultimate hole at the end. The buckle is loose and I'm afraid if it slips into a base this strap will do. Personally I would either spend a few bucks more and buy the others listed here or go to your local sporting goods store, you can find cheaper ones for around $3 and the Nike brand is only $10.
