I want it, I really want it. When I first decided to do this clear shell trade, I thought about buying some cheap Chinese crap for a few bucks. But then I thought no I want to get it right so I spent $25 on this, $25 on some pieces of plastic, that's half the cost of the joycons themselves. But what, at least they'll be high quality, or? Unfortunately there aren't any. The left controller is connected normally. But the right controller? He had two spots where all the tolerances were wrong. One of the plastic supports next to the plus button on the top of the controller was too short, so tightening the screw depressed the plus button. So I had to put a plastic standoff in there to get the board high enough that it couldn't push the button. too thin in a small spot. Resulting in the controller not latching properly no matter how much force was applied. So I literally had to grind down the stock black slider tongue to fit the unusually small gap. Maybe that doesn't sound so bad after all? Easy to fix right? Not correct. I didn't immediately understand the problem, but there were two of them. I made the first controller in less than an hour, the second controller took several hours, all the time wasted thinking I bought a professional quality product because I definitely spent money on a professional quality product to make it to get. I will not buy again.
