I have always wanted a journal with a lock on it. After my search , i found few here on amazon for the most reasonable price but they were kinda small in size. Once i saw this journal i really liked the look and style of it and most inportantly its size. I m currently using it as a lock journal. Instead of using the clip lock, i bought my own heart shape lock and just use that . Page quality is really good. It has a vintage texture to it and makes me feel like i m writing a story.I use it to write experiences of my life and advice on how i can deal better in future. Sometimes just to vent . To write regrets of last year and goals for the current year . Accomplishments of life or for the year .Hopefully this helps
