It's weird to say I love popcorn, but I really do. Having struggled with electric poppers blowing out after a few months (or less) this seemed like a natural solution. It's durable, easy to use, and well designed. Popping happens consistently and I almost never have an unpacked kernel. I use 1/2 cup of kernels (the standard cheap pound-bag variety at the grocery store) with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and set it on medium-high — in about five minutes I have a pan filled to the brim with perfectly popped popcorn . I had no problems with the handle or the wheel in the middle. Just don't press the handle and you'll be fine. I use it at least twice a day and it's been working great for months. This is the perfect solution for those frustrated with electric poppers. I highly recommend it.
