Originally I wanted to attach it to the sun visor of the car display. The problem is that the plastic of the car is too thin. Even when tightened there is a kink. This is not the fault of the RAM system. But I still needed a solution. Instead, I pressed it against the edge of the trunk between the two front seats. Now I face another problem. My arm bends as I press down on the spring-loaded phone holder. It's just not as hard as I'd like it to be. I think maybe I can add an extra brace to make the arm more rigid. Second, I need a longer arm to bring it to eye level. After all, what good is a phone holder if it doesn't take your eyes off the road? I think I already have $80-$130 and it doesn't really solve my problems. I don't think a seat wedge would be better, but I might end up trying no matter what.
