Remote and button don't work
I spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure out what to point the remote at and the product just doesn't have a receiver so of course it doesn't work. in general, and there is no timer function at all, it was nonsense. The button on the fork also broke in less than 24 hours but it would be too hassle to return it. Buy the $14 device instead, it's worth the price difference for something that actually works.
