Especially good for shredding documents from IRS

I love shredding documents; I find it very pleasant. If it's paper, I'll tear it up. These include bad references, overdue bills, garbage collection violations and a menu from the Italian restaurant next door. And believe me, this paper shredder gets the job done with relative ease. It shreds up to 5-7 pages with no sign of warping and has no issues with staples and small metal clips. I can say that the teeth are quite powerful and strong; Anyway, I just wish I had more to shred.PROS:1. Good price for a powerful grinder. This is great if you have a small/medium sized office.2. Easily shreds up to 7 pages at a time. In a cruel twist of fate, I destroyed the instructions for this shredder as soon as I received them. Put it to the test now.3. Not too hard. The upper part is fixed and the container is a plastic basket.4. The trash can is quite large. I need to empty it maybe once every 2 weeks. CONS: 1. Shredder falls asleep after a period of inactivity. To wake it up, you have to hold your finger over the power button for a second or two. It took me a while to realize it wasn't a button (it's actually a sensor).2. It is not immediately clear if it is possible to activate the shredder without deactivating the sensor. You need to hold your finger over the power button for about 5 seconds. I only found that out while writing this review. In other words, for something that only has 3 buttons, it's not the most intuitive hardware.
