I recently purchased an amazing self-healing turntable from Caliber Art for use with special quilt blocks that required rotating the block in one direction after cutting and then changing direction for additional cutting. When using a rotating mat for patchwork blocks, precision and rotation go a long way in achieving my goal of cutting and then turning. I use a cutting mat for quilting; However, I think it would be extremely useful for crafts that require measured cuts. I highly recommend Caliber Art's self-healing rotary cutting mat.
