Advantages:1. Price/volume of this pot is great. Have a 1 liter jug of Brita that needs to be refilled at least half a dozen times between morning coffee, the water bottle at the gym and everyday use at home and the process will be slow. Twice the size at this price was very attractive and the overall look and design felt nicer compared to my Brita.2. The taste is fantastic. Most people seem to have already confirmed in the reviews that it does what it says on the tin, I haven't done any testing and to be honest water is water at best, I can tell you if it tastes bad. However, it doesn't seem to affect the taste of the water in any way, tastes great, no problem here.3. The filters process water much faster than my Brita pitcher filters. It seemed to me that not having to wait so long while it fills up would be a great blessing. Installing the filter is also easy, a very simple screw mechanism. Cons: 1. The filter stops working when the jug is a little more than half full, killing both my 1 and 3 positives. I took the filter and squeezed the sides, tapped a little as the instructions suggested, removed the filter and screwed it back in, but after a few tries the jug fills a little over half, after which no more water goes through. .2. Due to the above problem, if you try to fill it even 3/4 full it creates a big problem when pouring the pitcher as the water in the reservoir will overflow when you try to pour it as it is not filtered which is the most important. pitcher.3. Due to the fact that it is designed with three dividers, if you overfill the reserve area, it will leak out a lot. Some reviews say they tried to seal this part but I only fill it up a little over half then wait and do the same thing again which seems to work fine but is still disappointing. I wanted to give a lower rating but there are many flaws. People could get it to work legally, or had no problems at all. I'll try a few more filters and see if anything changes before downgrading my rating, but for now I think 3 stars is pretty fair for what I got. I would not recommend this product based on my personal experience but I will admit that based on the reviews I may be in the minority and I have just received a product that has gone through the QA department.
