Review on 🔧 Gas Spout - Upgraded Replacement Spout and Cap for Pre-2009 Gas Cans and Water Jugs (White or Black Set) by Edward Perez

I have several pre 2009 gas "canisters" (2 of which are Walmart 1999) and the supplied/included cap does not fit any of them. which means that in my case I had to use the old cover. The design requires that the tube's seat be squarely opposite the gas cylinder with the threaded spout, but that's not the case because my original cap doesn't screw on tight enough, so it sometimes leaks. I've found that if I pull the flexible hose/spout so that it rests against the top of the cap rather than the gas spout where it's supposed to sit, it doesn't (usually) drip/leak when using this pseudo-replacement. Since I was able to get it to work and it's better than the broken spout I had I gave it 3 stars but maybe it should be 2 as I "don't like" it and tend to tolerate it. I definitely wouldn't buy any other.
