Merrick is a 5 star brand and I have bought several products from them for my cat. He loves Purrfect Bistro Salmon more than Before Grain #1 (chicken) so I switched him to this one entirely. And for those wondering how many meals you're getting per pack, here's a nutritional guide: (1 cup of this food = approximately 0.22 pounds) FEED 4-7 pounds: 123-247 calories: 1/4-1 /2 cup: 1/4 cup + 3 oz. 7-10 lb can: 247-331 cal: 1/2-2/3 cup: 1/2 cup + 3 oz. Can 10-15 lbs: 331-371 cals: 2/3-3/4 cups: 3/4 cup + 3 oz. So for a 7 lb cat you would need 3.3 lbs per month. For a 10 pound cat you would need 4.4 pounds per month. For a 15 pound cat you would need 4.95 pounds per month. Note that this is a guideline. Your cat may be eating more or less and you should be guided by your cat's physical condition. The ideal body state is when you can feel the ribs when you run your hands over the cat, but you can't see them. In addition, the cat will have a prominent waist.
