I bought this makeup remover because I was tired of buying makeup removers and cotton pads all the time. I was also afraid of putting that cold makeup remover on my face late at night when I was ready to wash my face. It's true that you can remove makeup with just these wipes and warm water. I even took off my mascara (although I didn't test it with waterproof mascara), but you can use eye makeup remover on your lashes to avoid rubbing your eyelids too much. I love that I can now use warm water instead of cold micellar water to remove makeup! They are smaller than regular washcloths which is why I chose them. I don't need a big washcloth to remove makeup from my face. The loop is great for hanging on a hook. While I originally intended to use each fabric once and fold it in the wash, I have found that the fabrics dry quickly, allowing me to use one side one day and the other side the next. Then I put it in the wash and take a new one. When washing, I recommend putting these cloths in a mesh laundry bag as your other items will stick to them, especially in the dryer. I don't think it will spoil anything, but better safe than sorry.
